STAR ACADIE 2010 is an organized singing competition for which individuals between the ages of 15 to 35 years old from New Brunswick can participate in the contest. The grand prize is valued at $1000, second place is at $500 and third place is at $250.

The auditions will be held at the Cap-Pelé Town Hall on June 11th and 12th. A jury composed of people from the music industry will select the contestants. The jury decisions will be final.

The selected candidates will have a training session in preparation to the opening show scheduled for Sunday, July 4th. The competition will be held at the Père-Camille-Léger Arena every Thursday evening from July 8th until the Grand Finale at the festival Coeur de l’ Acadie of Cap-Pelé; on Thursday, July 29th

To participate in the auditions, you must submit your application before 3 p.m. on June 11th by fax, mail or in person to the coordinates below. You must also accept and respect the rules of the contest.
